Me

I have over 30 years’ experience working with adults, children and families in therapeutic foster care and in private practice. 

I completed my undergraduate degree in Sociology at the College of Charleston in Charleston, South Carolina. 

 

My Masters of Social Work was obtained at the University of Cincinnati in Cincinnati, Ohio.  I completed my masters level internship at Cincinnati Center for Developmental Disorders.

Upon graduation I served as Clinical Director of a therapeutic foster care agency and in 2001 returned home to Tyler, Texas and began working in the realm of private practice formerly with Tyler Counseling and Assessment Center, LLP.

  • Trust Based Relational Intervention Practitioner from the Karyn Purvis Institute of Child Development at T.C.U.

  • Conjoint Marital and Family Therapy Post Graduate Training, Cincinnati, Ohio

  • LSOTP- working with juveniles with sexually reactive behaviors.

  • Certified EFT Practitioner
